Newcastle United have made a great start to the season winning their opening gameagainst Southampton. But Eddie Howe’s side need to make a few additions to improve their squad to aim for a top four Premier League finish. A new centre back is necessary and quite a few more additions should be made in order to assemble a well balanced squad before the summer transfer window closes.
One of the positions where the club do need to strengthen is right wing. Miguel Almiron is the only real option available at right wing, however the 30-year-old winger struggled to score more goals last season. Further, second choice striker Callum Wilson is 32-years-old and a younger forward is needed in Eddie Howe’s squad.
Newcastle United want to sign £30 million Premier League forward
Now, according to Caught Offside, Newcastle United are interested in signing Chelsea’s young forward Noni Madueke. Madueke joined Chelsea from Eredivisie side PSV in January 2023. Playing for the Blues, Madueke has made 46 appearances for Chelsea scoring nine goals and providing three assists. However, Chelsea have several wingers in their squad including Raheem Sterling, Mudryk, Pedro Neto and Christopher Nkunku alongside Madueke.
