the Gers were looking at bringing the North Macedonia star to the club in what would’ve been a club-record sale for Aberdeen.

Since then, however, news has emerged from journalist Alan Nixon, (17 June) that Serie A side Bologna are keen to sign Miovski this summer and could pay as much as £7million for his services.
The report goes on to state that the club can offer him Champions League football and the striker “could be tempted” to move away from Scotland.
There are a whole host of clubs reportedly vying for the transfer of Miovski with Birmingham City, relegated to League One last season, among those interested according to Nixon.
However, despite their large budget, the amount that Bologna are offering is “greater” than that of what the Blues can offer.
Why Rangers should set their sights on other targets
Although Miovski managed a total of 30 goal contributions across all competitions for Aberdeen last season, there are plenty of other targets Phillipe Clement could go for in summer.
Although a club wasn’t named, Rangers are the most likely candidates as they have been the most heavily linked with the Kosovo international.
Although numbers wise Igmane and Rrahmani fall short of Miovski, £7m is a lot to spend on one player when Rangers need to make several more signings this summer.
