Karamoko Dembele was one of the most talked about Celtic youngsters of the last 10 years.
Excitement surrounding Karamoko Dembele reached almost fever-pitch levels as videos of the young attacker’s skill and trickery went viral online and hopes were high that he could be the next big academy graduate into the Celtic first team.
Dembele joined the Celtic Academy in 2013 and quickly proved his talent after being named the U13 player of the tournament at the St Kevin Boys Academy Cup in 2013. [Glasgow Live]
After earning the praises of Scott Brown after being introduced to the Celtic senior side’s training during Brendan Rodgers’ first spell at the club, Dembele failed to kick on despite being given his debut at the club in 2019 by Neil Lennon.
But after leaving Celtic in 2022, Dembele signed for French Ligue 1 side Brest on a free transfer.
