Murillo joins Chelsea, £25m Brazilian prodigy – AI predicts five more Nottingham Forest transfers
Nottingham Forest have already been very active during the summer transfer window.
So far, they have earned £20m from Orel Mangala’s sale to Lyon, Odysseas Vlachodimos moved to Newcastle United for an undisclosed fee and Moussa Niakhate is expected to join Lyon.
Nuno Espirito Santo has also got his recruitment drive underway, bringing in Elliot Anderson from the Magpies for £35m, Marko Stamenic – who has subsequently been loaned to Olympiacos – from Red Star Belgrade, and winger Eric da Silva Moreira from St. Pauli.
Murillo, who signed for Forest last summer from Corinthians for £10m, is in line to earn the club a whopping profit of over £50m when he completes a £64m transfer to Chelsea, says AI. Similarly, Morgan Gibbs-White is predicted to depart, commanding a fee of £45m from Tottenham Hotspur.
To get over those major losses on the playing side, AI then says Nuno will react with three more additions to his squad.
The first is Adam Hlozek of Bayer Leverkusen. The 21-year-old Czech international striker has scored 14 goals in 80 appearances for the German champions, and will apparently be recruited for £30m.
Also arriving is Wesley Gassova, the 19-year-old prodigy of Corinthians, for the sum of £25m. The winger has already made 72 senior appearances in Brazil’s first division, and has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Tottenham.
