Sean Dyche to be sacked by Everton?
Coming out after the game and admitting that his players simply did not work hard enough and let Chelsea play through them was a damning statement.
When players aren’t playing for the shirt or the manager with the passion it demands, that is a worrying sign, to say the least.
James Tarkowski even came out after the match to admit that he was embarrassed, not what fans want in the middle of a relegation battle.
With a huge game against Nottingham Forest coming up at Goodison Park, Dyche is hanging on by a thread and if it doesn’t happen before, a defeat in that one could seal his fate.
One thing that is certain is the fans will turn up in their numbers for the Forest game and create an atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
If these players can’t get themselves up for that then fingers will be pointed at Dyche, who may be packing his backs by this time next week if things go badly.
