Rangers will take stock midway through next season on Philippe Clement’s position at the club, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on 28 May the Belgian manager is not currently in danger of losing his job despite a disappointing end to the campaign.
Clement still has credit in the bank within the Ibrox boardroom after he oversaw a couple of long unbeaten runs throughout the season and secured the Viaplay Cup in December.
Rangers chiefs are believed to be happy with his performance so far despite losing out on both the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish Cup to Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Sources say the 50-year-old is expecting to be backed in the transfer market as he looks to revamp his squad in the window that formally opens in mid-June.
