Celtic Receive No Kyogo Transfer Approach.
One which perhaps sticks out involves star striker Kyogo Furuhashi, with it previously being reported that Urawa Red Diamonds are interested in bringing him back to his homeland.
They report that Urawa would have to smash through the record £10m fee spent on a player in Japan to get their man, with Celtic in a position of strength due to Kyogo having three years left on his current Parkhead deal.
While he has undoubtedly dropped off in form over the past year, Kyogo has still put up some respectable numbers; 19 goals in all competitions in the season past made him the club’s second-top scorer.
Brendan Rodgers is yet to get the best out of the attacker who was ever-so-key under previous boss Ange Postecolgou. The Irishman, though, will likely want to keep Kyogo this summer but if a big-money offer comes in for an ageing player, it may be impossible to refuse.
