Tottenham Hotspur could end up making a big sale before the window shuts.
The North Londoners have done a great job with respect to outgoings this summer. Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Tanganga and Ryan Sessegnon were all released, while Joe Rodon and Troy Parrott were sold.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was loaned out, but that move is expected to be turned into a permanent deal at the end of the 2024/25 season.
That is good from Tottenham, but there is more. Spurs could pull off a major sale in the coming weeks that could help them in their pursuit of a new striker.
Richarlison appears to have changed his mind about leaving Tottenham
Richarlison has divided the Tottenham fan base since he joined the club.
The Brazilian, hailed as ‘unbelievable’ by Michail Antonio (BBC), had a disastrous debut season under Antonio Conte at Spurs, where he scored just one Premier League goal all campaign.
The former Everton and Watford man was much better in the 2023/24 season, but injuries really troubled him. That has put a big question mark on his future.
The attacker himself has been very vocal too. Back in May, Richarlison publicly claimed he will not leave England in this summer’s transfer window.
