The Nigeria international – who emerged from the Crystal Palace academy back in 2007 – left these shores for Spartak Moscow back in 2021 after a successful stint at Chelsea, where he won the Premier League in 2017.
Now, Victor Moses is back in England after sealing a shock move to Luton Town – but the man born in Kaduna was actually at Crystal Palace for a bit before joining the Hatters…
Why Victor Moses was back at Crystal Palace
Edmund Brack of the South London Press has now revealed that the 33-year-old spent time training with Crystal Palace in recent weeks to maintain his fitness, ahead of his next move.
It seems to have done the trick, as Rob Edwards revealed in Luton Town’s official announcement that Moses is fit and ready to play.
Coincidentally, the Crystal Palace cult hero’s first game for the Hatters could actually come against our south London rivals Millwall on Saturday.
Whenever Moses makes his Luton Town debut, it is great to see him back in England – hopefully, he can shine under Edwards and drag the Hatters back into the Premier League.
