A CELTIC fan has tragically died in a horror crash after “boarding the wrong bus” following Saturday’s match against Hearts.
It has been reported that John Burns passed away after being hit by a vehicle on the M6 near Carlisle on Saturday, September 14.
The youngster – who is believed to be 22 – was in the area after getting on the wrong bus following the Celtic v Hearts clash at Parkhead in Glasgow.
Meanwhile, a post on the Facebook page The Parkhead Faithful has urged Hoops fans to participate in a minute of applause for the young man during tomorrow night’s match.
The post said: “Minutes applause. John Burns would have been 23 on Wednesday, the same day his beloved club play in Europe.
“Could we ask for everyone to join in and participate in a minute’s applause on the 23rd minute.
“We have seen multiple fans and pages asking for this and we will. It would be the least we could do as a Celtic family at this terrible time.
