A Tottenham player suffered a horror car crash when his Mercedes smashed into a bar.
Destiny Udogie, 20, is on loan at Serie A side Udinese, and he caused carnage when he lost control of his Merc and ploughed into a bar based in Udine. The shocking incident happened at night when the left-back veered into the venue, leaving a trail of destruction in his path.
Udogie emerged from the wreckage unscathed, and no other injuries were reported, but the bar has been left with thousands of pounds worth of damage, according to reports, via The Sun. Images of the crash showed debris littered across the floor and chairs flipped over, in the area which has been cordoned off.
The Italian-born star was breathalyzed by police following the incident, but the results of the test have not yet been revealed, it was added. Udogie’s accident comes just a day after his return to Tottenham this summer was confirmed by football guru Fabrizio Romano
He initially joined Spurs from Udinese in August 2022 for around £15million, but he was shipped back to the Serie A side on loan. After signing for the LilyWhites, Udogie explained he couldn’t wait to play under the team’s former boss Antonio Contein the “biggest league in the world.”
