Chelsea return to the capital as they travel to the London Stadium to take on Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham in the early kick-off on Saturday lunchtime.
The Hammers are yet to leave London in their early Premier League fixtures, having only travelled to Fulham and Crystal Palaceso far this season. However, West Ham are winless in their last two, and if not for a late Danny Ings equaliser at Craven Cottage, would be coming into this fixture off the back of two losses.
Enzo Maresca‘s Blues are looking to build momentum following a late win on the South Coast against Bournemouth. Having picked up both of their wins on the road, firstly against Wolves, Chelsea are beginning to develop a habit of picking up results on the road this season.
The Blues’ last trip to the London Stadiumended in a 3-1 defeat at the hand of then David Moyes‘ side, but the last fixture between the two sides was a convincing 5-0 victory for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last May.
