Nottingham Forest’ have presented an official proposal to sign Celtic forward on a permanent transfer this summer, according to a report from source.
The report claims the offer is for 15 million euros with a further 5 million in performance bonuses, but there’s no indication as of now if Celtic are willing to accept the proposal as the Spanish international is currently preparing for EURO 2024 with La Roja.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST’ are expected to receive huge interest for forwards this summer, and could be looking at a possible replacement. But the fact cetics paid over €30 million to sign just a little over two years ago makes €15 million a difficult offer to stomach, but getting big salary off the books might be just as important to Celtics, if not more, than whatever transfer fee they get for a player whose value has definitely decreased over this period.
