The match marks a return to larger away fan allocations after a recent Old Firm lock-out.
A European style allocation of around 5% of the stadium’s total capacity will be in place for the clashes at Celtic Park and Ibrox.
And images taken by SunSport show that work is progressing apace outside the ground as workmen sculp the surroundings of the stadium.
And further work is likely under way inside.
Back in April, now departed Rangers chief executive James Bisgrove revealed that work would be required for BOTH stadia ahead of the chance – including new TURNSTILES at Ibrox, and changes to access and ingress at Parkhead.
But he also re-iterated there would be NO return to the days when Hoops fans were given the whole of the Broomloan Road stand.
