Nottingham Forest could face some fixture rescheduling due to clashes with neighbours Notts County.
The Reds’ Premier League fixtures for the 2024/25 campaign were released last week. Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and his team will be aiming to push on in the top-flight when the season kicks off in August.
Fixtures for Football League clubs were released this morning (June 26). The Magpies ’ League Two schedule shows four date clashes with Forest, when both sides are due to be at home. To avoid that situation, some rescheduling is likely.
Following the release of their fixtures, the Magpies said: “Fans are advised, however, that the Fleetwood match is one of four home clashes with Nottingham Forest. Updates on each of the aforementioned fixtures will be provided as soon as possible.”
Forest said last week: “Please note that all fixtures are still subject to change, with live televised fixtures from MR2 and beyond yet to be confirmed. Any fixture changes will be announced on the club’s website and across the club’s social media channels as soon as they are confirmed.”
