Steven Reid has announced he has left his role as first-team coach at Nottingham Forest. The former Republic of Ireland international has announced his departure on social media.
His departure ends a lengthy association with the club which included securing promotion to the Premier League. Reid wrote on Instagram: “So my time at @officialnffc has come to an end. Would like to wish everybody at the club every success for the future. Some amazing memories shared over 3 seasons that will live with me forever.”
Reid returned to the City Ground ahead of the 2023/24 campaign after departing the previous summer following a two-year spell with the Reds.When he left in 2022, on the back of promotion being secured, he said he wanted to take up a new challenge and planned to offer his services as a specialist coach “helping people improve their mental well-being, confidence, and leadership”
