Former Northern Ireland midfielder Neil Lennon has lost his job at Rapid Bucharest.
The former Celtic boss was under pressure after recording no wins in six matches and now he’s left the Romanian outfit.
Marius Sumudica has been confirmed as the club’s new coach.
“Today, Neil Lennon and FC Rapid decided to go their separate ways,” said the club.
“We thank Neil and his staff for their commitment and professionalism, and we wish them continued success.”
The Lurgan man was appointed head coach of Rapid Bucharest in May.
Rapid had finished sixth in the Romanian top flight and Lennon signed a two-year deal until the summer of 2026.
He had come close to becoming manager of Republic of Ireland and returned to coaching after an 18-month hiatus.
The 53-year-old led Omonia Nicosia to Cypriot Cup success in 2022 and then the Europa League group stage.
