Philippe Clement has been scouting the globe for new additions with FC Twente skipper Robin Propper the NINTH summer arrival in Govan to date. The window still has weeks to run and a number of further ins and outs are expected at Ibrox before the activity comes to an end after months of wheeling and dealing. A striker is high on the agenda with a number of names linked with the role. Cyriel Dessers and Danilo are currently on the books alongside new signing Hamza Igamane – although he’s yet to be involved at top team level.
Tommy Conway – who was included by Steve Clarke in Scotland’s Euro 2024 squad for Germany in the summer – is set for the Bristol City exit door with both Rangers and Celtic both eyeing the frontman. It is a deal which comes with major competition however, with reports suggesting FIVE English Championship sides have shown an interest in the hitman who has been handed a £5million price tag. That package – which includes add ons – is being discussed with the likes of Hull City, Middlesbrough and Burnley all said to have made an official bid with league rivals Stoke City also exploring a potential swoop.
