A German couple were enjoying their marriage ceremony in Munich when they got an unexpected surprise.
Showing why we are the best fans in the world, the pair got a shock when they walked out of Munich Town Hall to be greeted by the Tartan Army. Hundreds of fans cheered the newlyweds on before a bagpiper played a rendition of Mairi’s Wedding, reports the Daily Record.
The fans and members of their wedding party are seen partying together in the heartwarming scenes, which have been viewed thousands of times with comments suggesting the Scottish fans – in Munich for Scotland’s opening Euros 24 game against Germany on Friday night – gave the pair a “day to remember”.
Fiona Ross said watching the video clip “makes you proud to be Scottish” while Irene Stewart posted: “We are just an amazing race”.
Another said: “Scotland fans are the best in the world when it comes to creating a brilliant atmosphere. We know how to behave”.
